After reading 1,000 pages about Abraham Lincoln, Laura Miller and I made a life-size doll of the very tall president and created a guided tour from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial as part of the floating school, KCDC (Knowledge Commons District of Columbia). We answered questions about Mr. Lincoln as we told him about 146 years of history memorialized by monuments along the way.  The tour included some surprise correspondence from Mary Todd Lincoln and J.F.K. along the way! Mr. Lincoln was a big hit with DC tourists and partook in many photo-ops. He also had some pretty good jokes...
